One thing that was really helpful for the Springfield Coaches was getting together during a coaches meeting and writing lesson plans specifically tailored for phase II Writing...We collabored with each other then shared our responses with everyone. All of the writing prompts were then emailed to all the coaches as a resource. So...if you are a classroom teacher you might want to get with other teachers at your grade level to collaborate or if you are a reading specialist or coach then you might want to try this same approach.
